BRITTNEY ALLEN, PT, DPT
Brittney received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Stockton University in 2013. In 2015, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy also from Stockton University. She is currently a New Jersey licensed physical therapist and is a full time school based therapist who contracts throughout the county in several school districts providing individual and group physical therapy treatment sessions as well as performing consultations, screenings, initial evaluations and reevaluations. In the summers and per diem, Brittney works in the acute care setting. Brittney also has experience in the outpatient orthopedic, outpatient pediatric, and early intervention settings which has provided exposure to a variety of patient populations. Brittney provided pro bono physical therapy care overseas in the Republic of Haiti and she is a co-author to a chapter entitled Integrative therapies for Cancer Survivors: Special Considerations for the Geriatric Population in the text Topics in Geriatric Rehabilitation.
In the school setting Brittney has developed a particular interest in evacuation planning with a focus on mobility impaired students and staff. She has done research and is set to present to a group of her peers this academic year. Brittney is excited to dive back into the outpatient pediatric setting and is especially excited to do so in her own community where she also serves as a volunteer firefighter with Vincent Fire Company.
