Service Description

Our monthly play-based classes focus on helping all children meet their potential through play. Through games, crafts and snacks, children will have opportunities to develop feeding and eating skills, motor skills, sensory integration and communication in a social setting. Our speech and occupational therapists have education in childhood development and can assist children with motor, coordination, sensory and communication impairments in accessing typical childhood interactions. To provide children with a custom and beneficial learning experience, groups will be assigned by providers based on goals, skill levels and ages and capped at 4 participants. Please note, this is not a social skills class and is not appropriate for children who engage in aggressive or destructive behavior. Our licensed speech and occupational therapists provide opportunities for interaction and model appropriate social behaviors, but do not aim to change social behaviors through this group.
