AAC Learning Group - May

Research tells us that exposure to new words needs to happen over an extended period of time and that up to 200 exposures are necessary to learn new words.

In this group, we will choose core words that promote generalization across environments and listeners. We will provide an opportunity for not just our AAC users, but their families to connect and explore together. You will leave the group with a handout for a month's worth of activities and tools to help hold you accountable for modeling those words in everyday life.

This group will be billed through insurance as group therapy. Once registration is completed, we will contact you for payment and insurance information.
