About the Role
Balanced Child Pediatric Therapy, a growing outpatient clinic, is seeking a therapist to provide mental and behavioral health services to clients ages birth - 21 and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience as a mental health therapist and work with children and adolescents with a variety of conditions. This position will involve effectively engaging with clients, continually assessing their needs, developing an evidence based treatment plan and making appropriate clinical recommendations. Evenings are required. Balanced Child offers vacation pay, health insurance and a retirement package for full-time staff.
Responsibilities:
Provide mental or behavioral health therapy in accordance using evidence-based treatment modalities that is clinically appropriate based on assessment of clients
Develop and regularly update treatment plans.
Complete clinical documentation
Maintain good standing with the appropriate professional board entities
Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations
Stay current with updated research and best practices
Maintain contact with and consulting with third parties as needed
Qualified candidates MUST hold one of the following certifications LCSW, LPC, or PsyD.

Requirements
Qualified candidates MUST hold one of the following certifications LCSW, LPC, or PsyD.
Valid license in the State of New Jersey (LPC, LCSW)
Experience providing therapeutic services in an outpatient setting preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Professional liability insurance
Working knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health within the family
Ability to provide necessary self-care and demonstrate appropriate professional boundaries and behavior
